What We Believe
About God
We believe in one true, holy God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Each is fully God, sharing equally in all divine attributes, yet distinct in personality. From the very beginning, God created the world out of nothing and has always desired a personal, intimate, and everlasting relationship with us—His children.
About Our Situation
We believe that God created humanity to walk in relationship with Him, but sin entered the world through the first humans, breaking that connection. Our own rebellion keeps us separated from God, and there is nothing we can do on our own to restore it. Yet, God did not abandon His creation. Instead, He promised to redeem the world and reunite His family, offering hope for restoration to all who turn to Him. (Romans 1–3)
About Jesus
We believe that God’s plan of restoration is fulfilled in Jesus, born of a virgin and fully God in human form. Jesus came to proclaim good news to the poor, bring healing to the broken-hearted, and set captives free. He lived a perfect life, taught about the Kingdom of God, and, though rejected, was crucified, buried, and rose again. His death and resurrection make forgiveness and reconciliation with God possible.
Through Jesus, we are forgiven, restored, and brought into God’s family. He is the only way to God, the mediator between humanity and the Father. To all who accept Him, follow His example, and are baptized, He gives the Holy Spirit—empowering us to obey Christ, live faithfully with others, and share God’s love with the world. (Matthew, Mark, Luke, John; Romans 5:1–11; Hebrews 4:14–16, 7:24–25)
About the Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit is the third person of God, living in every follower of Christ. He moves in our lives, bringing assurance, wisdom, and strength. The Spirit equips and empowers each of us with unique gifts and abilities to serve others and build God’s kingdom. (John 14 & 16; Acts 2; Romans 8)
About the Bible
We believe the Bible is God’s inspired word, written through the voices of those who have come before us, yet speaking to us today. It is fully accurate, complete, and reliable. God calls us to immerse ourselves in this sacred story and to faithfully live it out, guided by the Spirit. (2 Timothy 3:16–17; 2 Peter 1:19–21)
About the Church
We believe in one true universal church, made up of all who acknowledge Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. The church is called to shine the light of Christ in a broken world, showing His love in action. Through the church, God works to reunite His family, making disciples who follow Jesus and share His hope with everyone. (Acts 1–12; Matthew 5:13–16)
